Coding just doesn't cut it anymore, is not remotely attractive right now. well, perhaps it would be attractive if it is something personal, for me to enjoy rather than building something with a general approach or designed to be used by many users.

Don't have any idea on what to do, perhaps  drawing, its been ages since the last time I did.
Gardening? I always liked it but I have no space at home.
Mountain bike, I love it but the places where I can go are too far :(  I do have plans to go next week though.

Perhaps, the thing is, this is consuming a lot of my time, 2 years ago I wouldn't have spend 200 cash for a new computer or wouldn't have browsed php blogs.

I realize I'm pretty different from what I used to be and I don't thing thats a good thing, my family and friends all have noted a change on my personality, something that can only be attributed to me spending more and more time on my PC :(

At the end of the its your personal life, but if someone you care about is annoyed by your behavior and if you can change the way they want then its fine. But then I find you a bit stubborn (guessing) so don't know if your gonna change much :P

I told you try photography or get married :P

    Take a break then :)

Coding, especially when doing it for free in open source projects, only makes sense when it makes fun and feels like the right thing to do.

If it feels like a burden or annoys you, then stop it. You can always come back later and continue what you've started. Or maybe not.

If you're lucky enough, others may pick up your code and do something with it.

Writing code as a hobby needs to make fun like any other hobby.

I for myself have experienced the same. I've contributed and worked on many open source projects (even some very popular and well - known ones), but I've always had my breaks, enjoying other things like traveling or flying cute little airplanes and other flyable objects.
