ovi suite deleted a bunch of music files form my PC... damn... it took me several days to find pearl to pigs from Modwheelmood  and now is gone...  604 and Light & Magic from Ladytron are gone too  :'( :'(

Some songs from Crystal Castles and The Smiths are gone too, I don't know how many, damn I'm mad, I will never, ever use ovi suite again... I got what I need which is opera mini and a couple of apps and if I ever use it again i will make sure not to use the import tool for music and pics....

Even better, ditch Nokia completely :P

Not that others do better when it comes to the "software suites" - Samsung Kies is a similar pain in the backside (it might be even worse than OVI) and iTunes - well, no comment :)

I do everything the "old school way" on my phone. Connect it as USB storage and transfer files using a file manager - if I accidentally delete some files, then it's my fault entirely and I can blame myself :)

    LOL

Yes I guess I learned not to use suites the hard way :P

I'm not too much onto the whole smart-phone thingy, I use my phone to make calls send messages and as an alarm in the mournings :P

I've been using this Nokia for about 4~5 months now and the only complain I have is that Opera mobile uses too much memory and it is slow to navigate several pages, other than that it fine :)

I've been interested on the whole Android thing for a while, to make a few apps and finally convince my friends that I do code (they don't believe me even if I show them) :P

Well, if you are talking about coding, then Windows is a big No for me.

If you are talking about using the phone as a regular user then I still gotta say no to windows :P  not because I dislike their phones, I actually haven't see any phone, windows  phones or phones who use windows mobile aren't popular here.

I like Nokia, as a regular user it is perfect for me since I'm not a gadget girl, it has what I need.

From the coding perspective, I would like to try Android, even if I never gonna use an Android phone, it's an interesting language.

Turns out Symbian OS is Open source now, I did take a look at Nokia's dev page.

I believe it uses C++ which is too bad since I'm not ready to go there, the whole compiling thing, no matter how efficient it is,  just do not attract me.
