I have a tendency to relate everything I like with my real life, of course One Piece isn't the exception here.

Perhaps is just me the one who finds things in common where in reality there is none, I dunno.

I met a person who resembles WB a lot, old, grumpy and very respected by all, he is actually the founder of the animal shelter where I used to volunteer back in my college days.

At the time I was there, there was another person (BB) who "betrayed" our organization (he did nothing horrendous like killing a nakama!, he just left with all the organization's money).

Years later I found him (out of causality, not because I was sent to search for him :P) and yes, I did complained about the stolen money and tried to make him returned it. didn't go to well :(

Much like Ace, I also have a small brother, naturally I always worry about him.

So yeah, for all purposes I guess I'm Ace :P  even the whole dying thing can be covered since when I finished college I stopped to work at the shelter too. I visit them once in a while though.

There's another similarities that isn't about me, for example, the narcos and the royal shichibukai similarities but that is material worth for another full post.

I don't know whether its that way (relating characters)
But i do believe that One Piece has thought me few things :)

Its like you can say One Piece = Is the perfect way to live a life ! Few things like

REAL Friendship (impossible to find what you see in the StrawHat Crew)
    Trust
    Dignity
    Self Respect
    Ambition
    Positivism
    Getting something out of nothing
Trying even if your about to fall off a cliff ;)

Yeah, it does teach you without forcing stuff on you, which is something I don't like.

Well, to keep with the coincidences, my little brother just entered College this year, this can be paired with Luffy enter the NW somehow, Ace isn't there for Luffy anymore, just like I ain't live with my parents anymore, thus, I don't see my littler brother as often as I would like :(

After college I move out to another house, that is why I don't live with my parents anymore. I currently live alone in a nice comfortable apartment :)

Perhaps its just a misunderstanding due to a language barrier.

I just move out from my parents house, I didn't leave them, just move out and now I'm living on my own, I visit them every 2 weeks.
